Olympus has confirmed the Pen E-P2 Micro Four Thirds snapper will be hitting shelves in January, complete with detachable viewfinder
We'd heard rumours it was on its way, and now Olympus has confirmed we'll be seeing the Olympus Pen E-P2 on shelves, at least overseas, in January 2010.
Following on from the success of its predecessor the Pen E-P1, the 12.3 megapixel Micro Four Thirds E-P2 comes in a black finish rather than the rather retro silver look, but other than that looks very similar to its older sibling.
The big difference is the accessory port that allows you to whack on the electronic viewfinder that comes in the box, or even a microphone for better sound when you're filming your HD video.
Speaking about video, HD movies are now available in manual mode, and as for your snaps, there's two new art filters, a colour-boosting i-Enhance function and AF tracking.
The Olympus Pen E-P2 will be available overseas in January complete with electronic viewfinder and 14-42mm lens.
