As expected Apple has rolled out a new redesigned MacBook.
At just over 1-inch thin and weighing in lighter than its predecessor at 2.13kg, the new MacBook takes on the unibody design of the MacBook Pro in its plastic shell and now features an LED-backlit 13.3-inch widescreen display and a 1280 x 800 resolution.
There's a new glass surface, multi-touch trackpad which has no button, meaning it's all about the double clicking on the pad wherever you need to go, as well as using gestures like pinching to zoom and swiping your finger to move down through a website.
Finally you'll get an improved battery, with up to seven hours juice on full charge and up to 1,000 battery cycles in its lifetime meaning you should be fit for about 5 years of usage.
As for it's design – it looks pretty similar to us, but it's got a bit of extra curve at its edges from the pictures we've seen.
Core spec-wise you'll be looking at a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 250GB hard drive as standard, expandable to 320GB or 500GB, and 2GB of RAM, expandable to 4GB.
Prices will start from $1299 – a price Apple is touting as "affordable".
