MovieIQ brings movie info to Blu-ray discs

MovieIQ will add movie information to scenes to allow you to work out just what "that guy" was in without having to get off the sofa
Blu-ray discs are set to gain their equivalent of track information in iTunes with a new service called MovieIQ. Don't want to leave the couch? No worries.

MovieIQ will add a glowing yellow icon to scenes where there is information about the scene you're watching. It's like a director's commentary mashed into subtitles.

MovieIQ is powered by Gracenote, the service that also pulls in track data and album art in iTunes

You'll be able to try the new feature using a BD Live enabled, internet connected Blu-ray player when Sony releases Terminator: Salvation and Angels And Demons in Q4.
