Sony laptops to have Google Chrome preloaded

by Stuff.tv  on Sep 2, 2009
Google's been promoting its Google Chrome browser hard and now it's set to come as standard on some Sony laptops
Google has inked a deal with Sony to have Google Chrome pre-installed on some of the firms notebooks.

Google Chrome currently accounts for just 2.6% of the web browser market. The deal is Google's first Chrome distribution agreement with a hardware maker but it won't be the last.

Google Chrome OS is set for release in early 2010 and is expected to be offered as an option by a number of netbook makers including Asus.
