Japan's already reveling in movies on their Nintendo Wiis but we'll be getting them soon too. According to Lionsgate, Nintendo is set to unleash its movie store imminently.
Lionsgate's digital media head honcho, Curt Mavis, told CasualGaming.biz that "the Wii movie store will launch worldwide soon".
Mavis says he believes the Nintendo Wii's broad audience is likely to go wild for movies on their motion sensitive console.
But for the Nintendo Wii to truly take on the media gobbling prowess of the Xbox 360 and PS3, it'll need a far larger hard drive. If Mavis (we do feel silly saying that) is right in his prediction, all that chatter about a Wii HD is about to get a whole lot louder.
