Sony launch new cameras, Bravia TVs and crocodile skin notebooks

Sony launched a host of new products today, including new Sony camera, TV and notebook models. Most surprising of all are the crocodile skin CS series notebooks

Sony Cyber-shot W camera: new and improved

The bottom line: Thinner, lighter Sony cybershot has that has that familiar Cybershot look with excellent specs.

Sony Full HD camcorder: worlds smallest?

The bottom line:  Apprantly, this is the worlds smallest full HD recorder - and that makes this another handy excuse to take this camera where bigger and heavier units could never go.  It's also perfect for travelling, especially with the integrated Google maps function.

New Z series notebooks:

The bottom line:  Traditional Z series quality with improved specs make this one to look out for. Light, great chiclet keyboard. Definitely one of Sony's top products. Plus, 6GB's of RAM; that's incredible for a 13" laptop.

NW series: budget laptop?

 

The bottom line:  Is this the cheapest Sony Laptop ever? At $1319 for the entry level model, it sure looks like Sony have tackled a new segment of the market with this light and spec heavy notebook. We like what we saw.

CS Series: Croc happy

 

The bottom line:   It's crocodile skin on a notebook. Is there anything more unusual and fashionable for a laptop? The Asus bamboo laptop just got a whole less kookier. Though we have to admit, there is something stylish about a laptop that looks like a handbag. Maybe thats the point.

Sony VAIO Mini W Series: how good is the big brand's netbook?
