BMW-designed case turns heads at Computex

The BMW-designed case that Thermaltake is showing off at Computex is turning heads with a unique design. Atomic tech writer Justin Robinson got some impressive shots of the rig, called the Level 10

Lambhorgini has inspired a laptop as has Ferrari, and now it's time for BMW to dip its toes into technology.

In this case (literally), it's a BMW-designed case that Thermaltake is showing off at Computex. Atomic tech writer Justin Robinson is at Computex in Taiwan this week, scoping out the next year in tech goodies, and got some impressive shots of the rig, called the Level 10.

Each component inside the hefty 16kg case is moved into its own individual cage.

The compartments include a large section for the motherboard and expansion cards, six hot-swappable hard disk caddies at the front, three 5.25in bays at the top and the PSU in its own bay behind them - each in its own box with the cabling tucked neatly away.

The Level 10 will have only a limited production run, and each case will cost around US$800.

You can check out more pictures at Atomic's gallery of Level 10 pics.
