There's a 3D mouse in the house. Festooned with buttons, and incorporating an LCD screen, the controller works in six planes by allowing users to rotate and pull up or down of the main joystick controller, making it perfect for 3D design applications.
It works with XP and Vista, Solaris 8 and 10 and various flavours of Linux, but Macolytes seem to have been left out in the cold.
It's available now from major CAD resellers and direct from Logitech for $499.
