Here we go folks – the long march to a new iPhone has begun, with the gadgets innards finally good–to–go
It's not every day that a gadgets innards get us excited. But when said gadget is the next–gen iPhone, we can't help but give out a little whimper at the thought of fondling Apple's next–gen mobile.

According to those Far East gossip hounds at DigiTimes, parts and components for the new iPhone have started shipping. Apparently that includes the much–hyped 3.2MP sensor, the in–built compass and that speedier Wi–Fi we've been told to expect too.

The new iPhone is set to be announced at this year's WWDC, which kicks off in June over in California. We'll be there, down the front, bringing you all the news about Apple's latest efforts to to take top spot in the battle for smartphone supremacy.

What do you think will appear in the new iPhone? Tell us now down below in the comments section.x

What will Apple include?
The way Apple reacts, they may omit anything a user suggests, but here are some thoughts:
1. More storage: probably 32 GB, hopefully 64 GB; but even then I'd want 256-320 GB.
2. GPS, camera, etc. seems to be a given or they be left behind the competition.
3. Security and flexibility. My iPod works only with my desktop, whereas a USB drive works with any computer I shove it into. I'd like to see the iPhone able to act as a Flash drive for any computer I shove it into, while probably still only allowing music sync to one computer.
4. Security: I now use USB Flash (and soon HDD) with inbuilt data encryption. This would be a great feature to add to the new iPhone.
5. How about virtual OS capability, with Windows Mobile 6.5 included (maybe as an option).
6. On board development tools, say an editor, JVM & compiler, etc. so I can code on the run.
7. Bring back the Newton's capabilities onto the iPhone.

Bloody hell, what ever happened to having a phone that is just that, a bloody phone. Nothing more, nothing less.
You start adding all the other crap, then weight increases, bettery life takes it in the shyster, software (firmware) goes to hell and the price goes through the roof why performance goes south.
