"O no!" - that's probably what Lenovo management are saying right now, as Apple fanboys roast the Lenovo's latest handset, which looks remarkably similar to the iPhone, epecially if these images leaked online in this Chinese blog are actually legit.
Imitation vs. flattery
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Lenovo is showing Apple some serious fanboy love. Lenovo's OPhone doesn't quite skip off the tip of the tongue like the iPhone does. And, will customers confuse the Ooohhhphone with a cheap sex toy or an early April fool's day gag?
Captured screen images from the blog clearly demonstrate that the OPhone is not just a $2 shop novelty toy, but an actual phone powered by Google's Android. We can already imagine the late night TV jokes from the likes of Leno or Letterman having a go at a phone that sounds like an extended sigh. O dear!
For more info, iPhone Footprint have the whole story. Original pictures of the actual Lenovo Ophone can be found here, further demonstrating the iPhone's similarity in both shape and size.
