Nokia 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic unveiled

by Stuff.tv  on Feb 18, 2009
Two new candybar handsets bring classic Nokia style and features to make the most diehard mobile fans weep
Nokia's come blasting out of the blocks at Mobile World Congress today, showing off two awesome new handsets which are set to redefine the mobile middle ground.

We'll kick off with the 6710 Navigator, the latest in Nok's growing line of GPS handsets, with dedicated navigations keys, walk and drive mode satnav, access to Maps on Ovi and Nokia Maps 3.0 as standard.

On top of all that GPS goodness, you'll find a 5MP snapper with Carl Zeiss lens, 2.6in QVGA screen, 16GB SD support, HSDPA and Wi-Fi as standard. It's due to land in Q3, so that's summer by pour reckoning.

On top of all that GPS goodness, Nokia's also come packing the 6720 Classic, with a raft of features to get you doing more than just casual texting and browsing with your blower. As well as built-in GPS, you get a 5MP camera, 2.2in screen, N-Gage games, HSDPA, geotagging and noise cancellation on-board, a la Sony's X-series Walkman.

The 6720 is due to land in April, but there's no word on how much it'll cost sans SIM. For more on MWC, check out the news feed for more as it happens. And take a look at the latest on O2's new Litmus app store too.
