Garmin and Asus offer up more features for their forthcoming nuvifone, due to be unveiled in Barcelona at MWC
It's one of of the most hotly anticipated mobiles of this year's MWC. And now more official details are reaching us about the nuvifone G60, the first in a string of tie–ups between Garmin and Asus.
As well as the satnav features and 3.55in touchscreen we already know about, punters will be getting a line of the usual features found in hot smartphones these days. That includes HSDPA, Wi–Fi, a 3MP snapper round the back, geotagging as standard (well it is a satnav phone), plus nuvi features including "Where am I?"
The release date? Well, that remains pegged for the summer. But with Garmin already delaying the cell from a planned 2008 launch, don't be surprised to see it slip to late 2009.
We'll be getting our hands on the G60 next week.
