CES 09: Getting to grips with LG's touchscreen TV

LG hasn't been shy about showing off some futuristic goodies at this year's CES.
But away from phone watches, TV widgets and 3D TV, top marks have to go their awesome touchscreen TV.

The M4212T might not sound sexy, but up close, it's incredibly cool. The full touchscreen we saw is being aimed to business suits rather than gadget geeks in their sweat pants. It lets you scroll round Google Maps, zooming in on which ever country takes your fancy and checking out what's kicking off in any town you can think of.

LG says it's due to drop in 32in and 42in versions later in 2009. Just don't expect to see it outside anywhere other than secret service bunkers and LG's own offices.
