Take-anywhere pocketable projectors will make a cinema out of just about any venue
Up until recently, the height of geekery was video-playing goggles. Not any more.

Tiny ‘Pico’projectors that use LEDs to project an image up to 60inches across are opening up a whole new era of guerilla cinema – just choose an MP4 file on your iPod or phone and the run the audio through a portable speaker set-up. Optoma and Aiptek both have Picos available now and Toshiba has one in the pipeline.

Look out for converged devices with LED projectors coming too. No longer will you have to mess up your eyes by staring at a tiny screen on the bus - your fellow commuters will thank you for your makeshift cinema.
