E-love: Design your ideal cyber partner in a few romantic clicks

Looking for love over the internet? Want to give that perfect hint? A new website has been launched to help create the perfect partner without appearing needy or desperate. Okay, we lied.
We always loved those 80s sci-fi films that focused on the creation of virtual playmates, whether it be the sultry vacation babe implant from Total Recall or the sexy love-god created to serve as inspiration to a couple of nerdy teens in Weird Science.

Problem is, something always seems to go wrong with this robotic fantasy and ultimately, virtual love is still fraught with technological and social complications.

Now there's a web site that will remind your potential mate exactly what kind of person you’re really interested in. This handy little piece of software from Gemini Division (amazingly, not an evil James Bond syndicate) requires a small smount of virtual partner building skills, but done right - it could land you the perfect catch in the real world, as quickly as your cyber double sends you a bouquet of e-flowers.

Virtual love is hardly new to us seasoned web surfers. In fact, we just recently served up another new and unique way to meet people over a 3G mobile network. But, if the thought of 3G-smoozing isn’t for you, then maybe a more subtle ‘hint, hint’ technique like this needs to be explored.

How to create a virtual love slave:

Here’s our rough-guide on how to get Jiggy with yours Sims inspired virtual-partner:

- First, you’ll need to log onto Gemini division and create your profile. Designing the perfect man or woman has never been easier online and scarily so – it all comes down to the initial design. The program comes with a number of presets so you can actively decide whether to imbue your fantasy babe with “high intensity domestic training” or that much sought after “hopeless romantic upgrade”.

- You choose exactly how they should look, their personality type and whether you want them to have the brawn of six East German athletes. Designing your virtual mate requires a healthy imagination and users of virtual game world ‘Second Life’ will already know how the drill by now: it’s like reverse dating – instead of blagging about who you really want and hopelessly waiting for it to happen, you just go out and magically conjur them up via computer.

- Once completed, make sure to send your creation along to your mates around the web. And don’t forget to make use of the handy Facebook plugin - so you can publicly be riducled for 'inventing friends'. But, don’t say we didn’t warn you - your real friends might get jealous and tease you for acting so desperate. Virtual partnering is so romantic isn't it?

So what are you waiting for? Click here, and get some E-lovin!
