New high–end snapper finds its way onto the web a week ahead of its official release overseas
With the new Nikon D90 only just fresh out of its box, it's good to Sony is keeping up with the Jones's, with their sharp new A900 DSLR finding itself all over the web this morning.

The new snapper, first spotted in a leaked ad by Photography Bay, promises to bring the pain to the Canon EOS 50D and Nikon D90 with features that'll make photographers weep salty tears of joy.

There's a monster 24.6MP sensor, a 100 per cent viewfinder, a 3in LCD, 5fps continuous shooting and Sony's very own SteadyShot tech inside.

Word on the street is that this'll officially see the light of day overseas next week, with Tuesday billed as D Day. Obviously, being a leak, there's no word on price, but expect it to be a figure that'll make your wallet wilt in pain.
