Which is fine if you're in Sydney, and very impatient. Not so great for other states.
Apple has formally announced the opening date for its second Australian company owned store.
While it's been known that Apple's developing a site in Melbourne's Chadstone, it's instead Sydney which again gets a bite of the Apple pie, as the second store will open in Chatswood on Sydney's North Shore this Saturday at 9am.
No word as yet as to whether there'll be a commemorative T-Shirt that you can then flog on eBay for big bucks, but given Sydney's recent turn of very cold weather, we'd advise against queuing up for it.
The store itself is located in the Chatswood Chase shopping Centre at 345 Victoria Avenue, and will be open to the public from 9am, with the usual Apple trappings of product demonstrations, a "Genius Bar" for technical support and on-site training through Apple's One To One program.
