That's life, not wife
ANYONE WHO THINKS life is priceless should have a little chat with British-born loser Ian Usher, 44, who has just found out his own is only worth a pathetic $383,230.

Usher, auctioned off his sad life on June 22nd, after his eight-year marriage collapsed, but was a little disappointed that he had to settle for almost $100,000 less than he hoped. His life package, included his house, car, motorbike, jet ski, his job (in a rug shop), his “lifestyle” and even his friends.

"I thought it might have gone a bit higher at the end. But it's a sale," said Usher who had promised on his web site that once the auction was over he would simply walk out with nothing but his passport, wallet and the clothes on his back. "It's been a pretty crazy week, but quite entertaining," he added.

Usher, now officially a man with no life, had previously said that his three-bedroom house was worth more than the winning bid, but reluctantly agreed that the sum was "pretty good".

Initially the auction got off to a flying start, with bids reaching $2.2 million (Australian), but Usher soon discovered that due to an Ebay hiccough, non-registered bidders were being allowed to put in fake bids. Calling them “idiots”, Usher deleted the pranksters and restarted bidding from scratch.

The mystery buyer is apparently someone based in Australia, who goes by the Ebay nickname of 'mslmcc' and has a 100 per cent feedback score from other buyers. He's now the man with two lives. µ
