Sony's portable games system gets a refresh in the next few days and the big news is that the ever-present Google has shouldered its way onto the pint-size device.
PSP v4.00 update will include a new Google search function, directly in the XMB interface, which will fully replicate the way Google works in a full-size browser. For the first time, a search history feature will remember and recall your last 20 searches. As long as your near a wifi hotspot, of course.

The only other new feature which has been announced so far is the ability to change the viewing speed of videos streamed from a memory stick.

Wow. That's... really pointless. :) Hopefully they have some other, more useful, features lined up for the release too.

Yes.. because I always use Google on my PSP....

I won't be updating the PSP again until they release an update to the video player that allows me to play avi files without having to convert them beforehand.
