The blue hoardings have come off Apple's first retail store in Australia, revealing an airy glass box like exterior. Check out the pics here.
With the official public launch only two days away, Apple is continuing the tease by giving pedestrians a peek inside the outside of the flagship store, on the corner of King and George streets.

While the blue hoardings have been removed, you can see inside the box-like glass exterior, but black drapes block the view inside the shop itself.

The three story Apple store will be Apple's first retail store in Australia, and $15 million has reportedly been spent on the project.

The store opening comes as Apple gears up for the Australian launch of the iPhone on July 11.

I tried googling last night's sneak peak but this article is the best I could come up with - it's a shame really considering the whole thing could be seen uncovered and all. I thought there would have been more hype and thus did not pull out my digital camera to take a photo. I know it's just a store but it's fun to get swept away in the excitement a bit!

FYI - If you google Boston store, it looks nearly identical however the advertising boards seen on the right of the store are against the back wall, with products lining the side walls. There's a massive suspended apple logo and the whole thing is lit up with bright white light. It's enough to send you blind!
