Blizzard title achieves one million concurrent users.
Chinese online gaming operator The9 has announced that Blizzard Entertainment's subscription-based World of Warcraft has achieved a record peak concurrency of one million users.

The9 claimed that this is the highest concurrency since the game's commercial launch in June 2005, following the release of its Burning Crusade expansion pack in mainland China in September 2007.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the first expansion pack for Blizzard's popular online game operated by The9 in mainland China.

The expansion pack has extended the existing game content in a variety of ways.

The9 directly or through affiliates operates MU, World of Warcraft, Soul of The Ultimate Nation, Granado Espada and Joyful Journey West in mainland China.
