Internode naked DSL rush now on

If you've been waiting patiently to get rid of your line rental fees, wait no more. Internode is now extending the plans to existing phone users.
The naked plans - which don't include a monthly line rental fee - were previously limited to new lines. Internode is now offering a $129 "Convert" option allowing existing customers to switch telephone services to Naked ADSL2+.

There is a catch - while Internode is converting existing "phone customers" to it's Naked ADSL2+ broadband service, it's not so easy for existing ADSL2+ users. Naked conversions aren't possible if you don't have a continuous copper path" to the exchange, or if your phone uses a "Spectrum shared ADSL service such as ADSL2+".

Existing ADSL2+ users can move to naked by disconnecting their Shared Spectrum service first, and then converting to Naked mode, which will include a "period" of downtime.
