Looks like a game, plays like a worm

A new worm is currently circulating around the Web, masquerading as a simple shooting game.

According to a Sophos antivirus report, the worm - codenamed W32/Bibrog-B – is most likely to arrive by email with the following header:

Subject line: Fwd:La Academia Azteca
Message text: La cacademia azteca (muy bueno) no es virus!
Attached file: academia.exe

When the game is played, W32/Bibrog-B copies itself to other directories in order to propagate through email contacts, or file-sharing applications. The worm also attempts to take passwords and other personal information by loading 'dummy' versions of common Websites including Hotmail, Yahoo! and Citibank.

For more information, and guidelines for removal, head over to Sophos' analysis here.
