Fancy a set of Bluetooth enabled headphones for playing some wireless tunes? Sony has shed the cables with its new Bluetooth headphone kit.
The headphones, along with a mini Bluetooth transmitter, will be released in two different designs, Street style, which like sounds like marketing speak for 'funky-hipster' (DR-BT21IK) and Lightweight (DR-BT22IK), which probably means they won't make your ears feel like they're going to fall off.
So, for those of us who have always wanted to shed those bothersome cords, which have the tendency to tangle and get wrapped up in all sorts of strange places, you can now enjoy a full 10 metres of wireless connectivity (plenty considering most people who carry their iPod in their pocket anyway). The device is compatible with A2DP (stereo Bluetooth) phones, so you can always you to use it for a bit of chit chat on the go.
The Sony Bluetooth stereo headphones are available now and retail for $249, though at that price we're not throwing away our $20 cabled pair just yet.
