Increased storage for all.
Apple has upgraded the memory in its iPhone and iPod Touch range in the US.

The new 16GB iPhone and 32GB iPod Touch will both sell for US$499 in the US.

"For some users, there is never enough memory," said Greg Joswiak, vice president of worldwide iPod and iPhone product marketing at Apple.

"Now people can enjoy even more of their music, photos and videos on the most revolutionary mobile phone and best Wi-Fi mobile device in the world."

The new iPhone is available only in the US, and Apple has given no date for a worldwide release. The iPod Touch is available globally from today.
