Guild Wars 2 MMOs have had a pretty rough year so far, with the perceived failure of Star Wars: The Old Republic. But Guild Wars 2 is being held up as the next great hope for the genre thanks to some innovative gameplay concepts and the lack of a monthly subscription. It remains to be seen if it can topple the World of Warcraft juggernaught, but all the signs are that this is going to be the MMO to watch.
