The Xoom 2 has slightly cut away edges (replicated in the retail packaging) that doesn't serve any purpose, but look really good. The Motorola logo is also, weirdly, muted on the new device compared to the original. It's slightly faster too, with a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM. The original ran a 1GHz dual core.
