In Pictures: Apple iPad 3The new iPad is slightly thicker than before, measuring 9.4mm (compared to the iPad 2's 8.8mm). Presumably this concession was necessary to pack in the new HD display. Otherwise, the new iPad doesn't stray too far from the iPad 2 in the looks department.
