In Pictures: CeBit 2012 Big tech shows are the kind of place where suited managers mingle with grown men dressed as Logan's-run inspired robots, and people gawp at what might be the next Segway and ignore the voice inside their head saying it looks ridiculous. No one bats an eyelid. The tech is fascinating, and the whole experience is sometimes a little unnerving. This week sees the opening of the big one - more than 4,000 are exhibiting at CeBIT, an event in Hannover, Germany that bills itself as the biggest "trade fair" for IT and telecommunications. And like CES in Las Vegas, the show halls are filled with an assortment of research prototypes and new products. This gallery highlights some of the more interesting products on the show floor.
