In Pictures: MakerBot Replicator in actionDuring our time at CES this month, we got up close and personal with MakerBot Industries' new Replicator gadget. If you're unfamiliar with this toy-making marvel, it's essentially a 3D printing machine that can 'print' three-dimensional objects out of PLA or ABS plastic (the same material that Lego is made out of). Best of all, the system's ReplicatorG software is open source, which means your creations are limited by only one thing -- your imagination. For a tiny taste of what's possible, check out the rest of our gallery.
