#6 Assassin's Creed: Revelations (Ubisoft) The final entry in Ubisoft's sci-fi/Hashishin mash-up was arguably the best of the series, serving up a perfect blend of thrilling combat, parkour parlor tricks and historical intrigue. Tasty new additions like the Grapple Gun-style 'hookblade' and first-person sections helped to keep things lively (unlike your unfortunate enemies). Unfortunately, Assassin's Creed: Revelations was released in the same month as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which probably wasn't the wisest of marketing decisions. Although the two games belong to completely different genres, Skyrim was all anybody was talking about for the entire month of November. For once, the game's titular assassins were a little too conspicuous for their own good. Get it here on PC for $35.95.
