#8 FIFA 11 (EA) In recent years, the once-troubled FIFA license has achieved an epic turnaround to rival Liverpool’s 2005 UEFA Champions League Final (3–0 down at halftime, stat fans). The shallow gameplay that the series was infamous for is now a distant memory, with complex footwork and realistic collision detection replacing the gimmicks of old. FIFA 11 was another return to form, boasting an all-new bag of (hat) tricks that effortlessly ran rings around the competition. Although the game was fairly well received, it failed to score the accolades it deserved. If you think it's just another EA Sports update, fasten your bootstraps and take another look. Get it here on PC for $23.21.
