The Sega Mega Jet is a handheld version of the Sega Mega Drive that was originally commissioned by Japan Airlines. Players used the device in conjunction with 
a small armrest monitor and could plug in their own Mega Drive game cartridges. Sega also released a modified retail version in 1994, but it failed to make it out of Japan.<br><br>According to legend, the airline version of the Mega Jet enjoyed a brief boom on the collector's market after a shipment was seized by Indonesian pirates! Today, it is practically impossible to get hold of. Its DNA can be found in the later Sega Nomad, however.
