It boasts an Intel X58 ATX Motherboard and Core i7-980X processor Extreme Edition which has been pre-overclocked by Alienware technicians. Customers can decide between an ATI CrossFireX or NVIDIA SLI graphics setup, with a choice between dual 2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 6950s or dual 1.5GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 580-SLIs. Other noteworthy specifications include nine USB 2.0 ports, an internal PCI-e digital/analog TV tuner, inbuilt liquid cooling, 12GB of DDR3 SDRAM (1333Mhz) and up to 2TB of storage. It also features a motorised, top-mounted vent array that can be programmed to optimise airflow.
