Prying the back cover off the first few times had us worried we'd break it, but thankfully it loosened up. The battery is 1200mAh, which should be good enough to get you through at least a day's worth of charge given the Galaxy 5's smaller 2.8in display

The Samsung Galaxy 5 is Telstra's second prepaid Android smartphone, with an impressive array of features for its $199 pricetag. As well as being one of the only prepaid Android devices running Android 2.1, it comes with most of the features of the pricier Galaxy S. Available from 19 October 2010.
