One of the things that AMD drove with the Athlon was DDR memory. This memory type came in 184 pin packages and provided double the data rate of SDRAM. This is a 128MB PC2100 module, which runs at a base speed of 133MHz. This makes for an effective 266MHz speed when the doubling is taken into account. PC2100 refers to the fact that it is capable of transferring 2100MB/s of data.
