Circuit boards from the 60's. Once they replaced vacuum tubes, transistors were initially connected to other electronic components on boards, creating electric circuits. The integrated circuit, created in 1959 by one of Intel's founders, Robert Noyce, and Texas Instruments' Jack Kilby, combined numerous transistors onto a semiconductor.
