Oh Cyb3r! that's harsh!
Though from what I've heard it's justified.
I use and like ZoneAlarm security suit V7. Comes with a 3 computer licence. I think a lot of security suits do now and I hear it isn't / wasn't very Vista compatible.
And there was that little issue a month or so back when windows update broke it.
Funnily enough I've seen nothing about that in any of the press. What do you make of that?:?
And it won't run on 98. for that there's an earlier version of AVG free.:d

Kaspersky is very good, but gives alot of annoying pop-ups.
I would go with Kaspersky over Norton (just) and always use a Freeware backup (well the corporate suites are rude and will not let you install any other AV - so install AVG after the Norton or Kasp. ;) that should beat them)

Personally I use Trend Micro Security Suite Pro 2008, AVG Free 8
and on another system - Kaspersky AV 6 (Open Security Edition)

Norton is just rubbish. It let a virus on my PC, and then told me there wasn't one. I think anything that gets 98% must be a TON better than No(t)rton
