Kodak's LS433 is similar than its little brother the LS633, and they fight it out on slightly different battlefields.
The 4-megapixel LS443 is the slightly bulkier of the two, has a smaller display and weighs a little more.
Strong colours and sharp lines make zoom photography a pleasure. The ability to then zoom up to 4x on the captured images is a great feature, letting you evaluate your images on the spot rather than waiting until you get home only to realise that part of your picture is out of focus.
The rotary dial menu system is easy to use and involves twisting the dial to the correct mode. Editing and zoom is done with a joystick control in the middle.
Inclusion of a docking station for charging and synching is a great way of doing everything all at once and looks to be the way all brands are expanding across their ranges.
Its bulk makes it a little less comfortable to use and carry than it's successor, but it's still a well priced 4-megapixel camera with some rather brilliant features.
