COMPUTEX 08: Gear, gadgets, boothbabes

by Nick Ross  on Jun 4, 2008
Nick Ross is on the show floor in the Thunderdome of component-land - Taipei. Check out the pics.
So we’re back at Computex for another year. So much has changed and so much is the same. The weather is constant grey and rainy (again), the taxis are still crazy, and the show has been cleft in twain with a new exhibition hall, housing most of the big name brands, being built in the arse end of nowhere.

The first thing we noticed on arriving at Hall 1 was that there was hardly anyone there.

Perhaps they would all be at the new site, Nangang? Pronounced ‘Nan Gung’

It’s an imposing place with two large floors, though something seems to have happened with the 2nd floor??

Babes don't look so hot. New gaming PC does.
