A quality design in many ways, and well worth an audition

Mitsubishi Diamond View DV175
by Darren Ellis

This is the first display in a fresh new line of TFT monitors to come from Mitsubishi this year, and from this early glimpse things are looking good. The unit we received was a very early pre-production model -- it had missing panels, the occasional loose wire and a completely different colour scheme (the TFT pictured is the final shipping version), but as a look to where Mitsubishi is headed it was perfect for our needs.

MITSUBISHI DV1250U

A glance at the plain DV2150U with its optical resolution of 1,200 x 2,400dpi in no way reveals what it IS capable of.

MITSUBISH DIAMOND VIEW DV159
by Darren Ellis

While the price of LCD screens drop to comparable pricing levels with CRTs and sales are on the rise, technologically they are held back because at the end of the day the picture delivered by an LCD limits its application compared to a CRT.

Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Digital DVDXRW1248-069
by Staff Writers

The Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Digital DVDXRW1248-069 was the clear winner out of all of the DVD burners we tested in this roundup. It had the performance, the features, and the value for money to easily stand out.

by Daniel Long

An IIPA Special 301 Report advises that Spain should be added to the American government's watchlist for countries with dubious file sharing laws. Oddly enough, companies such as Mitsubishi are using the laws to create ingenious Bittorrent promotions.

MITSUBISHI SL2U
by Staff Writers

While not the most stunning of projectors when displaying either video or data, the Mitsubishi SL2U is certainly a more than capable projector for both the boardroom and the lounge room.

The wide range of features and a degree of HD-readiness are welcome, but the DLP rainbow effect can spoil things.

MITSUBISHI DV172B

Scoring stronger than both the more costly 17inch Panasonic and Hitachi, the Mitsubishi DV172B just misses out on a recommendation.

MITSUBISHI DV159
by Darren Ellis

Offering a 16ms rise- and fall-timed TFT, Mitsubishi has developed a real winner here. The low redraw rate allows for performance that almost mirrors that of CRT, while maintaining the weight and size advantages of TFT screens.

Mitsubishi Diamond Touch DTRF-1
by Jeremy Torr

What do you need from a cordless keyboard? Basically, no cord, and keys that work. Things like smooth action, well-spaced keys, special-function Internet controls and a weighty feel that stops it sliding around are all pluses.

Mitsubishi DiamondView DV175
by Staff Writers

Reviewed in a sneak preview as a pre-production model a few months ago (February 2004, page 48), the DiamondView impressed us then and it’s good to see a full production version fulfill those impressions now. Not a great deal has changed though; it still suffers from a few brightness issues and white wash-out, and the contrast didn’t really translate as well as it should for its rating.
