The Pioneer DreamBook Power 900 is a locally built monster – this isn’t a desktop replacement, it’s a desk.

Local computer manufacturer Pioneer Computers reckons they’ve managed to jump ahead of the market today with the release of the Dreambook Style 9008.

It's tiny, it's light, it's got lots of storage, and a bigger screen and more tricks than the current EeePC - it looks like HP has nailed the mini-notebook.

Pioneer’s new DreamBook Power uses the Clevo D900K chassis which offers the size and space required to cool the blisteringly fast components contained within (see the specs box below).
