With our rapidly approaching second birthday we are still moving on at a tremendous pace, we were recently shortlisted as one of three finalists for "Magazine of the Year". Who would be so bold as to nominate us? The Magazine Publishers Association (MPA).
From the hundreds of magazines that were nominated we were chosen as one of the best. We cannot take all the credit for this and would like to say a big thank you for your continued support and reader feedback. THANK YOU!!
We were up against strong competition from Rolling Stone magazine and Harpers Bazaar. Although we were just pipped at the post we have definitely made a mark on Australian publishing. And, of course, there is always next year!
Now for most it is Tax time, but for Publishers it is also Circulation Audit time. When the proof is in the receipts and every issue counts.
Once the whirling of the calculators died down we were posted with a massive 15% increase on the last six months circulation. Which means we have broken the 50,000 barrier is less than two years! This shows PC @uthority has grown faster than any other PC magazine ever! Thank you all for contributing to this success.
You might have noticed that Tech Support wasn't banded onto July or August issues.. As mentioned in the previous Bulletin it was our intention to run it as a stand alone on the newsstand. However, due to the tremendous interest we have received, we are running Tech Support again with PC @uthority!
It will continue to run monthly with the magazine as of October issue. There will also be the option to purchase it as a separate magazine quarterly (the past supplements will be banded together plus extra pages.) So I hope this now will end the influx of emails I have been receiving!
