The Blackberry Storm lands amidst a flurry of other smartphone launches recently, and in the near future.
The iPhone made choosing a smartphone easy for many people when it hit the market, but now there's a wave of flashy phones competing with the Apple device. From Samsung's newly arrived OMNIA, to the Blackberry Storm, and Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, there's a number of truly astonishing "look at me" phones for Web, movies and music.

In the next two pages, we've rounded up six key phones that are leading the charge in different areas. For portable no-fuss email, the Blackberry Flip is hard to beat, with an ultralight 102grams weight, Suretype keyboard (for those with an allergy to touchscreens) and Blackberry's famous push email.

Samsung's OMNIA ups the ante for Windows Mobile users, adding a slick menu interface, a large screen for movies and Web, and a 5MP camera. Meanwhile, Nokia throws its hat into the touchscreen game with the upcoming 5800 XpressMusic.
