Tropix gives you the opportunity to design your own tropical island with
cartoon style art.
When the game begins you are given a small sandy island inhabited by a single
palm tree and a lonely monkey. The objective of the game is to upgrade your
island so you can sell it on to buy a bigger island.
However, to do this you must earn sand dollars by completing mini-games.
These can range from adventure games like vine swing, which all have a range of
levels and bosses which must be defeated to progress to more simple games like
coconut bowling and even Sudoku.
There are a wide range of mini-games available, and by completing certain
goals you can find treasure maps which unlock even more games.
Tropix has a few other interesting features, including a screensaver option
which displays your favourite island whilst you aren't using your computer.
