Mixman Studio is one of the most comprehensive and easy-to-use music creation suites available today. It has everything you need to create your own music and mixes, whether it is from scratch or through the use of the many samples supplied. The software comprises four separate, yet seamlessly integrated utilities - a recording studio, an FX studio, an editing studio and a mixing studio.

The interface is intuitive and is designed to look familiar to anyone who has used traditional music hardware, while altering the operational aspects of the various tools to ensure the smallest amount of keystrokes and mouse clicks are needed to create your music. This creates a far more fluid environment for making music and enables the creation of tight mixes.

The best part of Mixman has to be its FX studio, which offers a huge array of effects and an accurate set of editing tools. Effects can be applied offline in the FX studio, or simply added to your mix in real time. Combine this with the variety of samples on offer, both within the package and on the Mixman website, and you have an advanced piece of software that doesn't lose sight of the fact that it should be as user-friendly as possible.

With Mixman you can create music within a very short space of time, and you don't need a great deal of technical knowledge either.

Mixman also has some of the slickest graphics I have seen in music software, and although not very important when compared with usability or speed for example, it can add something to software when everything is in place - and it certainly is with Mixman.
