PocketPhoto is a fantastic utility which enables you to transfer photographs from your PC on to your Palm within minutes. If you are using the new colour Palm IIIc then you can even view these pictures in colour! However, the rest of us can only view the photographs in black and white, but this doesn't mean they have to be black and white to start with - PocketPhoto will convert colour photos to black and white for you.

The process of transferring photos to your Palm is easy - simply use the PocketPhoto Album Creator to select the photographs you wish to transfer to your palm, and next time you perform a HotSync operation the photographs will be uploaded to the device.

The Palm's display screen is obviously smaller than your PC's, so the photos will need to be cropped, and PocketPhoto Album Creator enables you to have full control over how you crop the image(s). You are also provided with a contrast toolbar, to ensure the picture you receive on your Palm is of the best possible quality.

Once the photographs are on your Palm you can select to view them as a slideshow, or simply tap the screen to shuffle through them. Photographs can even be beamed to another Palm or other such device, providing you with another way to share your photographs.
