XaraCube was designed by Xara Ltd to demonstrate the graphics technology used in the company's professional design products - Xara X, Xara3D, Xara Online and Xara WebStyle.
It consists of a number of large 3D cubes spinning freely across the screen, accompanied by lots of multicoloured, smaller cubes spinning in the background.
Upon downloading, the large cubes all have bitmaps displayed on each side, displaying various graphical images. The great thing about this screensaver is that all the existing images can be superimposed with your own bitmaps.
Practically any image can be placed on the cube surfaces, as long as they are in bitmap format - almost all image editors will allow you to convert images into bitmaps. Display your own photographs, graphics and text, or download images from the web to use.
Many of the screensaver properties can be configured to your own personal preference, including the number of large and small cubes, the velocity of their spin, and the size of the cubes.
