Microsoft once again produces an unrivalled motorcross simulator, with some great new features over the original version. The addition of two new racing modes (Pro Circuit Racing and Enduro Racing) adds new depth to this sequel.

Pro Circuit Racing enables you to work your way up the motorcross career ladder. Enduro Racing is a series of racing events set in interactive environments, ranging from an trailer park in Arizona to a Costa Rican airfield. These make full use of the freestyle navigation, which makes this game so appealing.

This trial version features two options: a nationals track for intense racing, and a 'stunt quarry" for showing off those all-important freestyle stunts. You have a choice of two games bikes and two outfits. A multiplayer option is also available, including the option to play the game online, with matchmaking for up to eight racers available from Zone.com, Microsoft's gaming website.

The graphics have also been greatly improved, and the trial version clearly demonstrates this. The addition of 3D static objects, such as trees and trains, makes this an incredibly realistic experience. Add to this the stunt modifications, which let you perform some crazy stunts with seemingly effortless ease, and you have one fun game.

New officially licensed bikes from Honda, KTM and Yamaha also help to make this a realistic motorcross experience.
