Utilising a unique interface that looks more like an an integrated part of the OS than an audio player, it takes some getting used to but soon becomes second nature.

The BeoPlayer supports MP3 and WMA audio formats, along with playing audio CDs. There is full support for ripping of audio from a CD, and with CDDB included it is a one-stop solution.

Upon installing BeoPlayer it prompts you to scan hard drive(s) to locate all audio tracks and lists them alphabetically. Download extra tracks in the future and these are automatically added to the list.

Unlimited playlists can be created, and due to the fact that BeoPlayer displays across the whole monitor screen, full song names are displayed.

When not required, the interface hides itself but remains accessible via a system tray icon.
